Lip Oil 7: Fenty Treatz Hydrating + Strengthening Lip Oil

Fenty Beauty is a brand founded by Rihanna in 2017, which quickly gained popularity due to its commitment to inclusivity for darker skin. The company caught attention for its diverse range of foundation shades and various skin tones, which was a game changer at the time. Fenty focuses on diversity along with Rihanna's influence and creative vision. The Fenty lip oil went viral because of the brand's strong reputation. It quickly became TikTok viral because of its natural shine, plumping effect, and smooth texture. The packaging is just like other Fenty signature styles, sleek and modern. The tube is clear with a large plush doe-foot applicator. The packaging is sturdy and a perfect size for your purse while having that luxurious feeling. The lip oil has a lightweight feel.

It feels smooth on the lips, almost like a hybrid between a gloss and a balm, with a non-sticky formula. The ingredients include shea butter and jojoba oil, which hydrate and soften the lips. The finish is glossy but not overly glittery or shiny; it has a subtle sheen that enhances the natural lip appearance. It gives a healthy plump look without the heavy, glassy finish like some oils. Wear time is slightly less than other lip oils, lasting only around 2-3 hours without eating or drinking, but it does wear off faster after eating or drinking. Reapplication is needed multiple times throughout the day, but the glass does fade away without leaving the lips feeling dry or patchy. Pros of this product include hydration, being lightweight and comfortable to wear, having a natural shine and plumpiness, and providing a subtle tint. Cons of this product include that it doesn't last long on the lips, limited color options that focus more on shine, light pigment, and is on the pricier side, higher than standard lip oils but lower than some luxury lip oils like Dior. Overall, the Fenty lip oil is a good option if you're looking for a luxurious lip oil that's still aesthetic and affordable. I would rate this product a B tier.
