Lip Oil 6: Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil Stain

 

Rare Beauty is a brand founded by Selena Gomez in 2020. It gained popularity quickly because of its focus on inclusivity, accessibility, and promoting self-expression. The brand has a strong message of mental health awareness, encouraging people to embrace their individuality and imperfections. Almost all rare beauty products go viral and the rare Beauty lip oil was not an exception. It's known for its unique formula and texture. The formula is lightweight and non-sticky, almost gel-like. After applying, it transforms into a soft, hydrating lip stain. The lip oil is formulated with jojoba seed oil and sunflower seed oil, which provide a soothing, hydrating effect. When you first apply it, it feels like a lip balm, but unlike traditional lip oils, this one remains glossy. Even though the gloss lasts longer than others, it does wear off after a few hours; however, it lasts longer.


The gloss does fade away eventually, leaving a soft matte natural stain on the lips. Although, unlike other products, you don't have to reapply for another 4 to 6 hours. The price of the Rare Beauty lip oil is a good value, especially because it's a hybrid between a stain and a hydrating lip oil. It's also perfect for everyday wear and can be layered with other products. The product does last longer than others because reapplication is not needed as much. This product is perfect for a purse essential especially due to its minimalist tube with a doe foot applicator. Overall, the pros of this product are that it's lightweight and nongreasy, with a hydrating formula that feels comfortable and leaves a beautiful, long-lasting tint, the oil is buildable, and you can control the color. Even though this product is one of the best lip oils I have tried, there are some cons, including that the hydration does fade away after a few hours and it's not as glossy as other lip oils. Overall, Rare Beauty tinted lip oil is one of the best lip oils I have tried, and that's why I'm going to rate it an S tier.
